Global Reach

Global Reach

International perspective is vitally important to all law enforcement leaders and IACP helps facilitate the sharing of that perspective through a number of forums. Through relationships with other international organizations, the IACP's members turn to each other to answer questions of global relevance.

Global Policing Leadership

The Board of Directors of the IACP established the Global Policing Division, a body consisting of world regions, to promulgate the international programs and activities of the IACP. The International Vice President serves as the General Chair of the Division as well as a member of the IACP Executive Board. Division Officers include the Division Vice Chair, Division Secretary and the Chairs of seven (7) World Regional Offices.

New Global Tiered Dues Structure

Seeking to improve equity for all members, the IACP is announcing a revised tiered dues structure based upon the World Bank’s country economic groupings. The IACP is offering international membership rates to allow those from lower-income economies to have more affordable access to the benefits and resources provided by the IACP.

What does this mean for you? All IACP members will continue to receive invaluable benefits and resources however, international members from lower-income economies will now have more affordable access.  Members from Tier I countries will continue to receive Police Chief magazine mailed to them. Members from Tiers II, III and IV will receive access to the translated digital version at a reduced fee. The new membership dues fee structure will take effect starting January 1, 2023; however, international members joining or renewing beginning in October of 2022 will benefit from the new tiered dues structure.

Visit Membership Criteria to determine your country's tier and corresponding membership fee. United States and Canada are Tier 1.
