Cultural Transformation in Policing
The IACP is excited to launch a community of practice dedicated specifically to cultural transformation in policing.
We are excited to announce the launch of IACP’s Cultural Transformation in Policing – Community of Practice. The virtual community of practice allows police leaders to share challenges and experiences around the topics of police culture change and community trust building, and the platform will promote further collaboration across the global policing community.
The virtual community of practice includes two key components: a discussion board and a resource library. The discussion board allows police leaders in the virtual community to share challenges and experiences in the culture change and trust building space, and the resource library allows police leaders to post resources and publications that may be beneficial to others in the field.
In alignment with IACP’s five-year strategy focused on building trust between police and the communities they serve, we plan to use the community of practice as a platform to promote further collaboration across the global policing community.

Eligibility
Please note that the virtual community of practice is only available to IACP members. The community is closed to those in the Associate Service Provider membership category to allow for candid discussions and engagement between police leaders.

Accessing the Platform
If you are already a member of the community, you may access it in the following ways:
To navigate directly to the Cultural Transformation in Policing - Community of Practice, please click here. Upon accessing the platform, please enter your IACP log-in credentials by clicking on the 'Sign In' button at the top, right hand corner of the screen.
The community may also be accessed through IACP's webpage by visiting www.theiacp.org and following the below steps:
- Locate the ‘Member Center’ box in the lower left-hand corner of the page.
- Click ‘Participate.’
- Click ‘Online Communities.’
- Click the ‘Sign In’ button on the upper right-hand corner and enter your IACP log-in credentials.
- Click the ‘Communities’ button. Next click ‘My Communities' and navigate to the Cultural Transformation in Policing - Community of Practice.
