About
The IACP Tribal Community Policing project helps to improve safety, build community trust, and increase officer wellness in tribal policing jurisdictions. Having a strong community and police partnership is a critical component in addressing issues and challenges in tribal law enforcement.
Each of the resources displayed on this page, explores what community policing looks like in Indian Country: what makes it unique from community poling in state and local agencies; what strategies are most effective; and how tribes can implement a successful community policing plan in their departments.
