Chief Ken Walker (Ret.) has been in law enforcement for more than 45 years, and served as Chief for more than 35 years. He was Chief in Lubbock and McKinney, Texas, and served as the Chief of Police for the City of West University Place, Texas until retiring in 2025.Chief Walker has served as president of the Texas Police Chiefs Association, the North Texas Police Chiefs Association, the South Plains Police Chiefs Association, and the Houston Area Police Chiefs Association. He is a life member of the IACP and has served on the IACP Board of Directors, the Financial Review Committee (FRC), and the Police Investigative Operations Committee.
