IACP Internship Program
The IACP's Internship Program offers a select number of undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to advance the IACP's vision of Shaping the Future of the Policing Profession.
Thank you for your interest in the IACP’s Internship Program!
Are you interested in contributing to the advancement of policing worldwide? Selected interns will support the IACP through advocacy, programs, research, and training, while gaining meaningful professional experience and direct exposure to products and services that support the policing community. The Internship Program is designed to provide students with comprehensive insight into the field by engaging them in a wide range of policing and criminal justice issues. The program consists of three 10–12-week terms offered during the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters.
Interns also benefit from experiential opportunities, including educational field trips, direct engagement with policing professionals from a variety of agencies, and participation in other professional development activities as opportunities arise.
Our mission to advance the policing profession often extends beyond traditional criminal justice work. Students with backgrounds in social media, business administration, hospitality management, leadership development, journalism, marketing, and communications are strongly encouraged to apply.
