The 2026 Policy Council Midyear will be held April 10-12, 2026, at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas.
Policy Council Midyear is designed to increase engagement, activity, and collaboration between committees and sections; and to ensure the work of the groups aligns with the direction of each Policy Council.
All committees will meet in addition to individual section leadership.

Registration
Those registering to attend should be either a current committee member or serving on their section board.
There is no registration cost for current committee members and section chairs/vice chairs to attend this meeting; however, registration is required if you plan to attend. As a reminder, attendance at this meeting is expected for all appointed members of IACP committees and section chairs.
Media is not permitted at this event.
IACP Midsize Meetings Media Policy
The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) hosts several midsize meetings, including the Officer Safety and Wellness Conference, Division Midyear Meeting, Policy Council Midyear Meeting, Technology Conference, and the Impaired Driving and Traffic Safety Conference. These events are closed to all media. Advanced registration for media is not permitted, and no media credentials will be issued. All sessions, meetings, general assemblies, exposition areas, and ticketed events associated with these conferences are strictly closed to media representatives.
Unscheduled interviews, photography, audio or video recording by media representatives are prohibited. The IACP reserves the right to modify this policy at any time.
