Officer Safety and Wellness is a critical priority for the IACP.
The Center for Officer Safety and Wellness was created in 2012 to centralize all existing efforts by promoting resources and encouraging a cultural shift within law enforcement agencies by emphasizing the values of safety, health, and wellness as they impact officer performance.
The Center focuses on all aspects of an officer’s safety, health, and wellness, both on and off the job. It is important to incorporate these topics at all stages of a career -- from recruitment, through promotions, to retirement and beyond. IACP wants to ensure that law enforcement professionals have the resources they need to remain healthy and safe.
Every Shift. Every Day.
