Law Enforcement Intelligence & Information Sharing Section (LEIISS)
The Law Enforcement Intelligence & Information Sharing (LEIISS) Section provides the law enforcement profession and, more specifically, law enforcement executives, with information, training, and a forum for discussion on law enforcement information and intelligence-specific topics to include, but not limited to:
- Leadership in the field of Intelligence
- The operation and maintenance of law enforcement intelligence fusion centers, real time crime centers, and other criminal information sharing networks or organizations
- Resources and information related to running effective criminal information sharing networks
About the Section
The section actively promotes, through education and training, an increased understanding of information and intelligence sharing and the value it provides to agencies and communities. The objectives of the section is to:
- Creating public safety strategy, and;
- Developing and implementing strategies to identify and prevent criminal activities
- Advocating for tools, resources, and policies that will improve the ability to effectively enhance public safety

Membership in this section is open to all active, life and associate members of this Association in good standing who are now or have been engaged in or responsible for law enforcement information and intelligence sharing.
