First Line Leadership Training

...BIGRS Regional Meeting of Traffic Enforcement Leaders
From September 16-18, 2025, the IACP hosted a regional meeting with traffic enforcement leaders from Argentina, Colombia, and Ecuador in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The meeting was funded by the Bloomberg Philanthropies Initiative for Global Road Safety (BIGRS) and focused on the progress of traffic safety initiatives in the participating cities and how to build sustainable traffic safety programs.
Fourth Iteration of the IACP/UAE MOI Police Academy Exchange Program
The fourth iteration of the IACP/UAE MOI Police Academy Exchange Program officially began on September 8, 2025. 54 officers representing 37 countries were selected for the exchange program.
European Police Chiefs Convention 2025
From September 23-24, 2025, IACP President Ken Walker, First Vice President David Rausch, International Vice President Vincent Vleesenbeek, and Director of International Engagement and Partnerships Vince Hawkes attended the European Police Chiefs Convention in The Hague, Netherlands.
International Law Enforcement Relations Symposium
On September 19, 2025, IACP Third Vice President Colonel Matthew Packard and a member of the Global Policing team provided two virtual presentations to attendees of an International Law Enforcement Relations symposium. The presentation was attended by over 200 police leaders from state and federal police agencies in Brazil, as well as international police attachés serving in Brasilia.
Independence Day Celebration at the Malaysian Embassy
On September 16, 2025, the IACP attended an event at the Malaysian Embassy in Washington, DC to recognize the 62nd anniversary of Malaysia’s independence.
International Forum on Police Cooperation
From September 1-3, 2025, IACP President Ken Walker, Past President John Letteney, and Global Policing Director Matt Langer attended the International Forum on Police Cooperation in Taipei, Taiwan.
