The IACP “Enhancing the Law Enforcement Response to Violence Against Women” is a free 5-part virtual training series designed to enhance the capacity of law enforcement when responding to and investigating crimes of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and strangulation.

The Training series includes the following sessions:

  • January 14th, 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM EST:
    The Impact of Trauma: Trauma-Informed Interviewing and Report Writing
  • January 21st, 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM EST:
    Predominant Aggressor Determination
  • January 28th, 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM EST:
    Strangulation: The Hidden Risk of Lethality
  • February 4th, 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM EST:
    Lethality, Risk, and Danger Assessments
  • February 11th, 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM EST:
    Articulating the Crime of Stalking

These will be interactive training sessions and attendees will be expected to participate in group discussions via webcam.
