Bernalillo Deputy Beats the Odds

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A Bernalillo County Sheriff’s deputy who almost lost her life, then nearly her leg in one of Albuquerque’s most violent shootings is now back doing something some doctors never thought she would do again. Deputy Robin Hopkins has defied the odds and is running again. It took almost two years to hit the streets again and there were some dark hours along the way. “Not knowing if she was even going to survive,” said Sgt.
