Why is research important to me?

As a law enforcement leader, supervisor or officer, research can impact day-to-day policing in many ways. This section of the website will highlight areas that research informs,  validates, or shapes police practices or policies.

An overview of several relevant, current research articles. Where possible, the sample size, methods used, analysis and major findings have been outlined. These are not  comprehensive lists of resources, but a snapshot of studies.
