IACP Center for Police Leadership

The Foundation has allocated $250,000 in restricted funds as seed money to establish the IACP Center for Police Leadership. The creation of this Center dovetails with the third and final year of a very successful COPS-funded Leadership Grant, which has sought to address and promote leadership as an agency wide concept.

In the next 18 months, the Foundation will begin the institutionalization of the Center for Police Leadership as a training and resource center for police departments around the world, providing fee-based on-site training and technical assistance and developing police leadership publications of both an academic and practical nature.
