(SACOP)

SACOP maintains three listservs for members to discuss issues and share concerns.  These listervs are available as follows:

• State association executive directors
• State association presidents and representatives
• Any SACOP member for accreditation issues only

A listserv is an email distribution system where by emails are sent to a specific mailing list.  Everyone sees the message and the responses.  Therefore, it is advisable to use discretion in responding to inquiries and comments.  When responding, please keep in mind that everyone on the list is reading your message.  If you wish to comment on an issue privately, please make sure that you address the specific recipient you have in mind.

If you would prefer not to receive these emails, please notify Elizabeth Currier at (800) 843 – 4227 ext. 390.  Also, please note that you need to request to be added to the accreditation listserv.

The listservs will not replace the mass distribution lists currently used.  Those email lists will serve to distribute notices, information, and more.  The listservs will replace the current method of dealing with SACOP inquiries and responses.
