Enforcement Technologies Advisory Technical Subcommittee (ETATS) collaborates with the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) and public and private testing laboratories to develop and update testing standards and minimum performance specifications for police traffic radar and lidar speed-measuring devices, as well as maintain the Conforming Product List (CPL) for these devices.
