2002 Minneapolis Conference Workshop Information

Planning the conference educational opportunities is the responsibility of the IACP Education and Training Committee (E&T Committee), which is meeting late in April to select workshops. To be considered for a workshop, information needs to be submitted to IACP Headquarters for presentation to the E&T Committee.

Due date: April 2, 2002.

Please refer other law enforcement officials to the conference section of the IACP Website.

Workshop proposals should include the following:

  • program goals
  • listing the expected outcomes for the program attendees
  • the concepts and/or theories being presented (an abstract)
  • the presenters' qualifications.
Please contact Charlie Higginbotham to share ideas, suggestions or recommendations.

The application will be reviewed, with points awarded to timeliness, appropriateness, and relevance. The E&T Committee will evaluate the proposals with an eye toward overall program content to ensure only state-of-the-art programs are presented.
