NHTSA and IACP Partner on 2008 Impaired Driving National Enforcement Crackdown: Aug.15-Sep.1
The national impaired driving crackdown is a prevention program organized, in partnership with the IACP, by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that focuses on combining high-visibility enforcement with heightened public awareness through advertising and publicity. To support the effort, NHTSA has released its 2008 Drunk Driving. Over the Limit. Under Arrest. Law Enforcement Action Kit.
