The IACP Center for Police Leadership, IACP Smaller Police Department Technical Assistance Program, and The IACP Foundation through the support of Target Corporation will be conducting Leadership in Police Organizations training in Duluth, Minnesota on the dates below. Tuition cost and lodging is covered by Target, the Foundation and IACP for chiefs who apply and are selected and who are participants in IACP’s New Police Chief Mentoring Project
. Other individuals wishing to participate in the class may do so by paying a fee of $1,860.00 which covers their lodging, tuition and meals for the three week duration of the class. - March 31st - April 4th, 2008—Area I: Individual Motivation and the Leader Thought Process
- April 28th-May 2nd, 2008—Area II & III: Group Formation and the Leadership System
- May 19th – May 23rd, 2008—Area IV: Organizational Theory
*To receive the Leadership in Police Organizations certificate, participants must attend all three weeks of training.
