The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Law Enforcement Information Management (LEIM) Section invites you to participate in the 32nd Annual LEIM Training Conference and Exhibition in Nashville, Tennessee. The conference will be held May 6-10, 2008 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. The LEIM conference is unique given it is the only international law enforcement conference in the United States designed for practitioners by practitioners. Agenda topics will include:
- CAD, RMS and mobile technology programs and resources;
- Effective project management techniques;
- Systems integration and interoperability;
- Federal funding opportunities and grant management;
- Information technology standards (US Department of Transportation and US Department of Justice);
- Intelligent transportation systems;
- Traffic incident management.
The objectivity, quality and quantity of the information exchanged through LEIM are unparalleled. Your attendance, participation, and support helps further LEIM's mission to advance the law enforcement profession through technology.
We encourage you to submit presentation proposals for the IACP LEIM Conference. Strong consideration will be given to workshops focusing on emerging technologies in addition to lessons learned from successful, extremely challenged, or even failed, projects. Priority will be given to presentations involving public safety practitioners; purely commercial presentations will not be considered.
All sessions are limited to 60 minutes and there should be no more than 2 speakers. Applications for presentation proposals can be found at http://www.iacptechnology.org/LEIMConferences2008.html#Presentations
