Statement From IACP President Donald W. De Lucca on London Attack

As President of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), I am deeply troubled by the attack that took place at Parliament in London, England, today. As the world mourns the one-year anniversary of the attacks in Brussels, it is devastating to learn of this senseless act. I, along with the members of the IACP, grieve the lives of the victims who have perished and hope for the recovery of those who have been injured in this horrendous attack.

As the Metropolitan Police Service and their colleague agencies investigate and respond to this act of terrorism, I want them to know that they have the support of the IACP and the global policing community. Our thoughts are with the victims and all those whose lives have been devastated by this tragic and senseless crime.
