IACP Webinar on Collaborating with Community Partners to Protect Children of Arrested Parents – January 14, 2015

The IACP and the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice will host a no-cost, interactive webinar, “Collaborating with Community Partners to Safeguard Children of Arrested Parents,” on January 14, 2015, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM EST. 

The webinar will discuss the importance of community partnerships to protect children of arrested parents, and will provide strategies for law enforcement to collaborate with child welfare services and other community partners to ensure the best outcomes for these children. Resources will be provided to assist law enforcement agencies in developing and implementing a policy to safeguard children during parental arrest.
