IACP’s Alzheimer’s Initiatives, in collaboration with the Bureau of Justice Assistance, Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice, has created a training program: Responding to Alzheimer’s Disease: Techniques for Law Enforcement and First Responders. This is a no-cost training program dedicated to providing executive level law enforcement, firefighters, EMS, and others from the first responder community with the most current Alzheimer’s and dementia training available.
