IACP invites you to attend our Webinar, Introduction to Sex Offender Management

This live online event will present a portion of the course Sex Offender Management: An Introduction for Law Enforcement and Community Supervision developed by the IACP in cooperation with the Center for Sex Offender Management (CSOM) and with the support of the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance. This 45-minute Webinar is open to law enforcement executives, community corrections administrators, and law enforcement and probation and parole officers. This Webinar will:

  • Introduce the training workshops for leaders and officers.¬†
  • Give an overview of Module 1: Sex Offenders 101, which provides valuable information on sex offenders (i.e., who they are, general recidivism rates, crimes they are most likely to be re-arrested for, their victims, etc.).
