IACP Conference Thumb Drive Initiative to Benefit Denver Area Youth
A DROP OFF BOX WILL BE LOCATED AT THE IACP PROGRAM AND SERVICES BOOTH IN THE EXHIBIT HALL FOR DONATIONS
As a result of the success of the backpack drive held last year at the 115th Annual IACP Conference in San Diego, the IACP, with the Civil Rights Committee leading the charge, is asking the membership to embark on another exciting service project that will impact the lives of many young people in the Denver area.
The IACP is asking its members to donate NEW thumb drives and lanyards to the Denver Public School System. This project is in conjunction with the Denver Public School system. The Denver Public School system services over 75,000 young people and is recognized as one of the best urban school systems in the country. The Denver Public School system is excited about the partnership to make technology more accessible to Denver area students and to ensure students achieve academically. Please consider supporting this project by donating a one gigabyte or more thumb drive and lanyard.
Drop-off bins marked “DENVER PUBLIC SCHOOLS” will be available in the conference center. Let us continue demonstrating IACP's sense of community involvement and make an impact on the lives of young people in Denver at the 116th Annual IACP Conference and Exposition.
