IACP often has short term, special programs that offer technical assistance to law enforcement in very specific areas. Whenever possible, we make these programs available to members. Some programs have little or no tuition requirements.

Currently, the following programs are available:

• Smaller Police Department Technical Assistance Program
• Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS) Program
• National Law Enforcement Leadership Institute on Violence Against Women
• National Trainer Development Program on Violence Against Women
