Patrick Oliver
Patrick Oliver is currently the Director of the Criminal Justice Program for Cedarville University in Cedarville Ohio. He previously served as Chief of Police in Fairborn Ohio, Grandview Heights Ohio, Cleveland Ohio, and Ranger Chief of the Cleveland (Ohio) Metropolitan Park District. Other law enforcement experience includes 11 years as a trooper with the Ohio State Highway Patrol. He is a graduate of Penn State University Police Executive School, a graduate of the FBI’s Law Enforcement Executive Development School, and a graduate of the Ohio Association Chiefs of Police Executive Leadership College. He is a Certified Law Enforcement Executive (CLEE). He is also a graduate of the Rural Executive Management Institute. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice and a Masters Degree in Business Administration, both from Baldwin Wallace College, Berea, Ohio.
He serves as a consultant and a trainer with the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police, the International Association of Chiefs of Police, and the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives. He has also served 9 years as a Commissioner for the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies and is a past president for the Ohio association of Chiefs of Police.
