Ken McLaughlin
Chief Ken McLaughlin has served as a law enforcement officer in the state of Delaware since 1989 and currently serves as the Chief of Police for the Town of Ocean View. Ken is a member of the IACP Patrol and Tactical Operations committee and holds numerous advanced and instructor certifications.
Recognized for outstanding leadership by groups such as MADD and the Delaware League of Local Governments, and named Delaware Police Chief of The Year (2005). In 2006 he served as the Chairman of the Delaware Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run Committee and in 2009 he served as a Final Leg Runner at the Special Olympics Winter World Games in Idaho.
Ken is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, Delaware State Police Academy and the Delaware Corrections Academy.
