Bryan Edwards
Bryan Edwards is a founding principal of the Intelligence Applications Institute (IAI). The Institute provides intelligence community best practices training, techniques, and fundamentals to the local, state, and federal law enforcement community.
Mr. Edwards is a ten-year veteran of the Central Intelligence Agency’s Clandestine Service. He has served in multiple foreign and domestic field positions, including the Agency’s most important intelligence collection programs in Latin America and South Asia. He also has significant experience working directly with local, state, and federal law enforcement partners pursuing cases from counterterrorism investigations to international narcotics smuggling.
A graduate of CIA’s intensive Field Tradecraft Program, Mr. Edwards is ideally suited to instruct on the informant acquisition cycle, including the formalized approach to targeting, assessment, development, recruitment, and handling of these often challenging human assets.
