The SACOP Midyear Meeting was held in Alexandria, Virginia on March 24-26, 2012. Over 120 attendees participated in committee meetings, educational training sessions, a mini-summit, networking receptions, Host Chief ’s Night at TopGolf, and more. Thank you for your participation and insight – you helped make this one of our most successful Midyear Meetings to date. As discussed at the Midyear Meeting, SACOP General Chair Chief Kent Barker is leading the effort to update Rule 6 of the IACP Constitution to bring it in line with the current administration of the SACOP Division. Over the next few months, the SACOP Executive Board will meet via teleconference to discuss this matter further. Expect more detailed information about our progress soon.
