Criminal Justice Information Systems Committee
The Criminal Justice Information Systems Committee (CJIS) shall support the IACP mission and its members by serving as the central coordination point for data and information sharing and information management systems. The CJIS Committee shall also serve as the primary liaison with the FBI on all issues involving information sharing efforts to include, but not limited to, the National Crime Information Center (NCIC), the Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS), the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS), the National Data Exchange (N-DEx) and Regional Data Exchange (R-DEx).
Pam Scanlon, Executive Director of the Automated Regional Justice Information System (ARJIS) of San Diego, CA chairs the CJIS Committee, and has declared mid-year committee dates of Sunday, May 19th and Tuesday May 21st 2013 during the LEIM Conference to be held in Scottsdale, AZ.
